My bet is two combos in the bonus zone. 3F3lo is the only option (correct me if i´am wrong) for a upgrade without fixing her lutz.

I think I remember something about that now! Wasn’t she sitting with other skaters on the ice rink, and she had an interpreter? I never knew exhibition skating tours existed until then, what with being a new fan and ice skating being almost non existent in the UK. I’m glad she did a ton of shows and tours during the long offseason, including newly made EX programs. [emoji4]

True! True! It’s my brains fault. My brain is working in other sport techniques on strategy with competitors. This had nothing to do with previous threads about the past but just with sports strategy in general which might be alien to skating really. You are right. I am still new as a fan of skating so I have a lot to learn. I guess the biggest competitor you have when you think about it is yourself when skating.

Yes, I believe she did a joint interview with Alina. I have also enjoyed her performances at the ice shows, but now I'm so ready for the season to start! I want to see Zhenya competing again :love:

Does anyone know if Evgenia is friends with Liza Tuktamysheva? I just started following Liza on Instagram and she has a wicked sense of humor, which actually reminded me of Zhenya. I know they used to compete together so they’re probably friendly

2 weeks until the test skates!

All the female Russian skaters know each other since it’s a tight-knit group. But Liza is 3 years older than Jenya so they were not able to compete against each other that much. Liza also trains in St Petersburg so that’s another thing. I wouldn’t call them friends but they are associates of sorts. Liza congratulated Jenya about going to Orser though :D

Yeah, like elizabehj37 said, they don't seem to be friends, per se, but there doesn't seem to be any ill will either, and yeah, they definitely know each other.
