Thanks for the article! I read it this morning and David seems like a really nice and down to earth guy. His and Zhenya’s personalities could really gel well together. It was interesting reading up on how he got to be such an amazing choreographer and his thoughts on Brian Orser, Yuna, Javier, Yuzuru etc. His experience is vast and has worked with so much legendary talent too. I might end up being proven wrong but I believe Zhenya will benefit a lot at this point in her career from having DW and the rest of the team at TCC. [emoji106]

I come back here, see the 1230 pages and am like: ”What the....?!“ For a moment I was thinking Zhenya had - I don‘t know - done something crazy like announcing she‘d do pairs skating with Yuzu or something like that to make the pages go up from 800 to 1200 in about two days. I was shook. But it does look more impressive this way. Way to go. We‘ll reach 1500 sooner than thought.

They mentioned a TCC source saying they are working on both her lutz and flip. If that's true, it's great!

I thought she sort of hinted that she was working on the lutz when she put it in the Windmills of Your Mind EX, so I'm not shocked to hear this, but I am a little surprised, as I figured they'd go for some lower-hanging fruit in her first season there. It makes sense to start working on the hardest thing right away, though. That gives her the full four years to work on it.
Man, this season can't start soon enough; I want to see her skate! :hpull:

LOL I never listen to TSL. Even I have a limit to how much mean snark I can handle, and they frequently surpass it. I just read other people's summaries of what they had to say.

Eh, I wouldn't put much stock into their more gossipy second-hand accounts. They tend to exaggerate and get things wrong all the time (I remember one of their recent episodes where one of the guys said that Yuzuru hated Shoma's guts and I was like... sorry what? footage literally not found). I don't buy for a second that Eteri stopped talking to her after the SP. For anyone who followed the event closely, it's fairly self-evident that the real falling out between the two happened almost a month later. And in that sense, hearing that Brian is "obsessed" with Zhenya is nice, but could be as much of an exaggeration.
I hope their scoop about jumps is true, of course, and it's also nice to hear how much praise Megan has for Zhenya as a person.
