Evgenia Medvedeva

The fact that we are going to see Evgenia soon is one of the main things keeping me going through this tiring week 😂😂😂

Oh, me too! Not having the best week right now, but having this to look forward to seriously helps

It's amazing how this kind of thing can really help keep people going when they've had a bad day or week. Zhenya as just one example with her skating career, upcoming tournaments and programs and always with her positive and can do attitude, can be inspiring at times to some people and help them through tough times. Preach! :)

Evgenia usually sends a photo or a tweet from the plane. Hopefully she’ll do it this time too.

She might, but she is probably focused right now on her skates. Might not see any social media stuff until they are over. So how do we know the schedule for the skates? Will they be streaming somewhere online or just people posting them?

The only thing we know for sure is the FS is in Moscow on the 9th, and it's open to the public. There isn't an official livestream, but there will definitely be fancams posted soon after the event.

The SP is close doors in Novogorsk in these next few days (possibly on the 6th but no official confirmation on that) so we might get a fancam if they let some people in like they did with the juniors, or we might not see the SP until ACI.

I just can’t wait to see her improvement under Orser and of course the new programs which I think everyday ... Believe in you Zhenya

Don't forget - Orser has said many times that it takes at least a year for a skater to noticeably improve under new training methods.

I don't even particularly care whether we get a video or not. I mean, obviously I do, but most of all I want reports of which state she is in. And hopefully they'll all sound like this: Zhenya did a wonderful SP... She looks splendid and healthy.... I would be over the moon to actually see her jazz SP already but I just hope someone reports if we don't get to see any videos.

The only reason I wouldn't want time to pass quickly is because 9th is a Sunday and one day after school's about to start again... after two months of peaceful holidays. :slink:

What's all this talk about her being healthy? I'm fairly new around here. Was she injured again (meaning after the Olympics)? :( Or is it the same one from before?

Hello. She had a fracture in her foot last season and also her back was injured. She was actually still injured during Olys. After the Olympics she was told not to jump for 3 (?) months. So in that time she was rehabilitating. She only began jumping back in June. That’s what we mean by being healthy again :)
