I am sure every fan who doesn't need to work friday will try to watch her

I wish I can find a way to watch practice sessions

Thursday, right? Well, I‘m in Spain at the moment and we‘re doing lots of excursions so I probably should get some sleep but since we‘re having a bus ride of about 3 hours on Friday, I guess I’ll be fine. ;) Still hoping Zhenya skates a bit earlier, though.

Just dropping a note to look for content on Skate Canada's YouTube channel as well as on DailyMotion.

Last year, the interviews from AIC went on DailyMotion, but we see some things archived on YouTube.

e.g. here is the promotional video for Skate Canada International 2018 (yes, Zhenya appears briefly... but this looks to have been worked up from previous years).

Future European zombie here. I'll definitely watch her SP live, even when she skates really late - which lets actually hope she does, so the judges don't get too stingy with their scores. The FP is going to be even later though, right? I'll probably have to pass on that.

Thanks, I will. I‘m trying to up my Spanish skills a bit but I‘m not sure I‘m succeeding. At the moment it‘s more talking “con las manos“ than anything remotely resembling a real conversation. :biggrin:

Well, for some reason it took me about 20 mins to load a 4min video on that website, but worth it. I don't think I've seen that bit with Jason, Zhenya and the Beijing'22 sticker before and it's so sweet! Gosh, I wish she can make it. And Jason too, of course.

Okay I am 3 hours behind so for me it will be 2 pm Pacific, 5 pm Ontario time. too bad i will be at work Thursday.

“Every competition is special and important to me, so I am trying to do my best every time,” she said.

During an interview Monday at the Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club, Medvedeva said she was not concerned about the possibility that critics are undoubtedly ready to pounce if her performances are less than her best, no matter how premature such a rush to judgment would be.

“People always are judging so fast. Always,” she said. “That’s ok. I just don’t pay attention to it.”
