I’m in love with that FS dress design!!!
Maybe I’m in minority but I actually like her SP dress. It gives nice jazz like vibes and suits her hairstyle. I’m a little bit upset that she gives rid of it but on the other hand her new dress might be even better.
Her FS dress is in my opinion too plain for tango program. Alena’s last year dress was exquisite also Diana Davis has beautiful tango dress.

I did not find her SP dress repugnant, but thought it needed some adjustments. But after Evgenia explained that she and Tracy were fixing it backstage before hitting the ice, it made a lot of sense. Which brings me to this question - don't skaters practice with their costumes on at the start of the season to make sure everything is okay (like a dress rehearsal)? Or was this just because they really had no time to do everything they wanted to do because of how late she started training in TCC?
I definitely love her dress for the SP. I'm not sure if it's the dress or whether she grew since the Olympics but she looks like a full grown woman now. Damn sexy.
Maybe the cut of the dress enhanced her chest and showed off her curves.? I think she looks stronger & healthier now. She just needs to get her confidence back.

many skaters do this soon after they first get the finished product from the designer to make sure it fits okay and they can execute elements without any issue, it's comfortable to wear, etc.

What will be the surprise that Zhenya prepares? some announcement, event? I'm looking foward to it. (and she is wearing her beautiful Leftovers dress )
I just hope that at least one dress is long sleeve, so far that kind of dresses have been my favorites: Chopin SP, FS 2016/2017, and Leftovers, that's my top 3 in terms of dresses.

Yes, I love the AK program -- one of the best ever! The famous Leftovers dress is very pretty though. [emoji7]

This is my dream.
I think Josiane makes pretty good dresses and is closer but my soul just speaks to the extraness of a custom Lisa McKinnon. Although the simple costumes she did for Alexa and Chris last year were also stunning. I know Mathieu Caron is also very popular now but I think he’s more suited for ice dance dresses (I also have some issues with some of Tessa’s outfits tbh even though MR was iconic).
Stephanie Miller and Luanne Williams in Northern Michigan would also be great. They made Meryl and Charlie’s costumes, including my favorite orange dresses from their 2011-2012 SD

Luanne did a couple of my dresses back in the day, she does very good work! she also did dresses for Alissa Czisny. I remember being fitted at her house and saw her swan dress, i was in awe.
Do Josiane, Mathieu and Stephanie have instagram accounts? I don't think i've heard of them before.

Josiane Lamond is the custom designer for Xpression Elite in the Montreal area. And Montreal is definitely a fashion city.
I'm not in love with all of her work, but some is iconic. Yuna's heavily crystalled one, Gracie Gold's all gold spectacular dress...
She does seem to design with the skaters in mind. What she has done for Gracie is very different than for Kaetlyn or Gabby. Or think about the differences between Javier and Boyang's costumes which she also does.

Josiane and Stephanie don’t appear to have Instagram accounts. Stephanie is Luanne’s business partner and I think they are old school word of mouth only.

I do wish more dress designers had instagrams, it’s fun to look at and it makes me appreciate the work that goes into it
TBH my only issue with Evgenia's move to Canada is the end of collaboration with Olga. Truly majority of my favourite dresses is from her and I find her designs refreshing. I know that Lisa is popular but her dressing are easily recognisable and sometimes her designs are repetitive. Mariah Bell's dress look like taken from Ashley's wardrobe.
Now when we know that she will have new dress at GP I can't wait to see it

Would Zhenya really need to stop working with Olga? Once she knows her music choice & the theme of her programs, she could jump on a Skype call & discuss iota with Olga. She could also send Olga her measurements. Olga comes back with a few sketches of concept dresses & fabric choices. Zhenya works with Olga via Skype on refinements. Olga then FedExs a sample to Canada. Final alterations done during test skates.
