But I'm also curious about her SP dress. We know for sure she's getting a new one so... let's speculate! Personally, I hope it's something jazzy. I actually liked the last one she had but maybe with a bit more details that match the theme? I don't know, I'm no dressmaker.

I'm hoping for full on art deco flapper glamour with the new SP dress. I want her to shine like the top of the Chrysler Building. The first dress was sort of leaning in that direction so fingers crossed they go for peak jazzy glam.

But on the other hand I want medvedeva’s figure skating career to last as long as possible and when she’s done Putin better give her a job in his cabinet cause I’m SO proud of her and the way she’s handling this whole situation. Like if she wants this is perfect political training - being able to communicate clearly and slightly ambiguous as well to not sway anyone + that speech she gave around Olympic time

I actually love discussing dresses. Some ideas:

For the SP, something more elegant, but with loads of sparkles. All black would be okay, but I hope for some gold accents (for our golden girl (●'◡'●)). And I think maybe Zhenya should have longer gloves, like about the length of her Anna Karenina gloves.

For the FP, something dark red with a similar style/cut to Maia Shibutani's FP dress from last season, or long-sleeved with the same layered skirt that January Stars and Nocturne had, maybe partially backless. One of those is what I hope for.

Edit: In fact, I think the dress Zhenya wore for Experience would be good for her FP.

The off-season made us so thirsty. We're parched. We need sustenance.

I'd love to see Evgenia in a darker dress for the LP to be honest. I like the red one and she has the coloring for it but she looked so incredible in the earlier red and black dresses for Anna Karenina that I yearn for another take on a dark palette. The black AK dress was probably my favorite though I think I'm in the minority there. It's just such a great color on her. And black + sparkle is my weakness.

I don’t know if you guys saw Satoko’s original tango dress for this season. But it was long sleeved and with the back open. Almost like Tessa’s Moulin Rouge dress but with black and lots of sparkles. I would love to see a dress like that

I really like Evgenia's SP and got curious about Sandra Bezic. I watched her TLS interview pre-olympics (12/10/2017) and she was asked about Evgenia (and Alina), and this is a snippet of what she said:

"...Evgenia has an 'it' quality, that is uniquely her... I think the world is gonna to fall in love with her. I think because of the whole Russian flag or no flag thing [in the Olympics], the world could very well just adopt her and fall in love with her. I think she is, as a star, that fabulous."

And half-a-year later, she is skating to an SP (co-)chroreographed by Sandra Bezic! Wow!

She's been inactive on her social media recently, of course except of the new collab announcement, so when I go to VK and see she was online for example 20 minutes ago, I'm immediately so happy and I'm always like : "Yaay, girl! You are still alive!" [emoji23] (lol, don't get me wrong, Czechs actually say that, so it's a direct translation.)

She was online 11 minutes ago. [emoji3]
