Lovely to see the new interview! Sadly, I didn't have much time for figure skating in the past weeks, but at least I return in the right moment.

New dresses sound good. I didn't like her FP dress very much, so if she changes that as well, I'm all for it!

I might be wrong, but I think Olga doesn't post dresses of her big stars before they debut them themselves. But just out of curiousity, I need a link!
 
I wonder if Evgenia and Jason will be celebrating Halloween at the end of the month. Do they have Halloween in Russia? On second thought, do they have Halloween in Canada?
 
In Zhenya’s long video interview after the ACI, did anyone else notice how often she spoke directly at the camera when she really wanted to emphasize or clarify a point? I thought that it was very cute and funny.

Whether that was true or not is irrelevant since it was an emotional state. It was despicable for Eteri to even put that out in the public to cause mistrust and resentment. She basically poisoned the relationship Evgenia has with other Russian skaters and fans. If you watch some of her past periscopes, she and Zagitova were close friends who hung out together. Now they seem to not even acknowledge each other during the test skates.

In SP I love the choreography between 2:10-2:30, not so crazy about it around 2:44-2:48 when she does that arm flapping move before final spins.

In FP I love the libertango sequence and around 1:47 when the music changes over from Mumuki. Is it a new song? My version of Mumuki I downloaded from Yo Yo Ma Soul of Tango doesn't include this (in case there are different versions of it) . Does anyone know what piece it is?

I agree 100%. I saw it as a grown woman in her forties attacking a teenager in public. That’s not a good look for any adult. Thankfully, Evgenia refused to take the bait and did not directly respond to Eteri.

I think Polina was lucky to never be her favourite so she avoided media bashing after her departure.

Zhenya's and Jason's picture with fan made my day :D My mum wants to visit my uncle in Toronto. Maybe I should go with her. :laugh: I guess if I met Evgenia I would just froze midstep and utter something stupid.

I'm not surprised young skaters may be inspired by Zhenya's on ice fashion :biggrin: I don't remember if she ever had bad dress for competitive program in seniors
 
A bit into the future but I'm kind of worried for Zhenya at Russian Nationals. Of course I believe in her (and in the interview she said she's aiming for top two) but against Alina and Eteris' super junior team, I'm kind of worried of the immense competition.

Yes good point about it being an emotional state if that Zhenya did say that and that's never even been confirmed no matter what her former coach said. Others have said that Medvedeva and Zagitova did not communicate during the open skates. But even when they were coached by the same coach and we were in competition they were respectful of each other but they let each other do their own thing and that's what they're going to do in the future. It is a shame that Eteri went publc with a rumour at Zhenyas expense. But everyone is doing fine. Great credit to Evgenia for making such a big move in her career by most people would be too afraid to do so in changes coache in her peak years.

Zhenya has trained with all of them, so she knows how good they are. As long as only one senior girl beats her, she is going to worlds. Plus she will be more comfortable with her programs by Dec.
