Oh sorry, I didn‘t see that. I just found the post on instagram and decided to post it here.
Costumes aren‘t too much on my mind either, though. I‘d rather have her skate in training clothes and have two absolutely clean performances than her having absolutely gorgeous costumes but bombing terribly.
Yeah, I guess so... like some people in the competition threads are already wishing for () if Sofia Samodurova wins and Alina only gets second Zhenya is probably out of GPF. They want to see ”TAT explode“ because they suspect she will if Zhenya doesn’t make the final, or at least that‘s what they said. I can only be:

I know that I will do it for the whole competition like I did at SCI FS. I‘ll be away from the skating part of the internet. I‘ll wish her good luck one day before the SP starts and then leave and only send her positive vibes. It worked for the FS and it worked for me, too. I‘m way too attached to Zhenya and I don‘t want myself to get overtly crazy.

I do not know how I can watch the broadcast. To be honest, at Skate Canada during her FS, I KNEW she was going to do really well, but still could not look at her while she was performing. I was basically relying on the reaction of the audience about how she was doing. That's why I admire Evgenia so much - I mean I was not even skating and I was that nervous.
At this rate, I will probably watch the broadcast but close my eyes when she's skating, then open them only once she's done. Quite ridiculous, I know.

Russia has three spots. Alina and Liza seem to be locks. If Zhenya makes the GPF she seems to be certain as well. She still has to do well at Nationals but it would be the first very important step to make it to the final.

Seeing how she's done many -3lo combos in practice, maybe since loop is one of her better jumps, she has a better time with -3lo combos than others :think:

I've seen that video before, someone said it was from worlds 2016 but I am not entirely sure.
I wonder why she never did loop combos before in competition, not consistent enough perhaps?

i wonder why she never competed a lutz loop, IMO it would have recieved higher GOE than her lutz toe, since she uses so much upper body to get the toe off. this looks so much more seamless.

She never did a lutz toe though, due to her wrong edge. She never did any lutz combo at all and had only one in the FS and none in the SP. Had she been able to do a loop combo on her flip however... well, we’d not be calling her “2018 Olympic Silver Medalist“ then...
But I’m not starting to talk about this again. She was injured and couldn’t up her technical content to fight off Alina who simply surpassed her in this aspect last season. It was unlucky and certainly not what she wanted but alas, that’s life. Now that she’s restored we might see a loop combo, though. Not this season but next one maybe. It looks like she’s actively working on them but right now she needs to get her consistency back + gain confidence to perform her programs more comfortably and naturally.

I saw those. That must be part of her deal with Nike? Social media marketing. I don't think she will ever be able to get off social media! That is a good contract to have. I wonder if she will ever go to their headquarters (in Oregon). She is sort of close now.

Who was the decison maker for the layout?
No upper body movement=higher GOE? I doubt it. I mean, I could now post some gifs/pics from girls who recieved +4/+5 GOE but this is probably not the rightful thread.
Why not this season? If she qualify for the GPF, I would risk something.
