I read what happened before I watched the program and I skipped through the mistakes because it would've been too sad. The program is really, really lovely and it's unfortunate it didn't work out.
Of course I'm upset, but I was ready to accept whatever happened, and I knew it was equally likely for her to do either really well or not well at all. Both Brian and Zhenya seemed to accept the results as well. On one hand it's strange because obviously they've been training for her to go clean but on the other hand I think it's good that they weren't hysterical over it.
I think there's still a very small chance she'd get sent to Euros if she can do well tomorrow, but certainly not Worlds. I'm sad and not ready for her season to end so early but she needs more time to embrace all of the changes so maybe it will be a blessing in disguise.
The support from the crowd was really amazing. Both Brian and Zhenya seemed to be amazed by it. It was very touching and I hope she knows that so many of us are rooting for her, understanding her, and just patiently waiting for her.
But what if Tuktik wouldn´t recover so quickly after pneumonia. You thinkf they will send then Zhenya to Euros? And if Zhenya will do well there, who would be chosen then to worlds? I don´t think Stasya would be a safer option then Zhenya and Russia will need to score well to get three spots for the next year.
