This was so good I cried my eyes out and I'm still crying. I loved how happy she was before the step sequence, and you can see how good she can be when she's enjoying the skating!

Yes!! I think I catched two tiny smiles throughout the program and I'm so happy about it.

I'm also very grateful for the support she got from the crowd, it seems that was just what she needed. Sure, she got great support at her GP's too but I guess the home crowd is the most important after all.

Gorgeous! I think the audience support during/after the SP helped her find her fire back. She fell on the 2A-3T but I think it was completely round and it wasn't a horrible floppy fall either Just slipped off the edge. Maaaaajor tango vibes overall, especially the step sequence and I LOVE it.

overscored? yes but then again so is everyone in this competition. I was brought to tears by the reaction of the audience even before the program finished. The support was incredible, I´m so happy to see she still has the hearts of the people, this is a very rare thing. I´ve only seen crowds this hyped when Yuzu skates.

Even if it wasn't nationals, this is a reasonable score. I don't know what did people expect, PCS of 65?

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting in the Zhenya fanfest (I'd usually have posted in the competition thread, but RusNats ladies thread is a scary place). I was too scared to watch Zhenya live so I watched her on Youtube after the scores came up, and I was so glad to see Zhenya with her confidence back :luv17: She wasn't flawless, but she had the energy and spark we know and love. When she urged the crowd on I was like I'm 100% confident now that this is just growing pains and she's becoming better and better. Aah I'm just so proud of her right now and I needed to say it out loud, I'll be off. Give yourselves a big pat on the back for having the good sense to believe in her

PS: I love this new dress (tango baby), but I did like the old one too

Welcome!! You‘re cat pictures yesterday helped!! Sorry, I‘m kinda freaking out right now.

I agree, the performance wasn‘t perfect but she looked like Zhenya in the K&C and during the skate. And the audience loved her. It was what she needed and despite the mistake, it was a great skate. I hope this lets her end this competition on a happy note!

What a great skate!!! There were mistakes but they didn't take away from the performance. It was really HER moment. Brian said "I'm so proud of you" when they were hugging- I think that's how we all feel! I love how happy she was, I'm equally as happy. Don't care at all about the placement, this has been an overall good experience and I'm so happy she got her moment today. It's been so touching
