This was first time in this season I saw Eugenia skate on her usuall speed of her Sambo-70 times. Congratulation and wish for her that she already touched bottom and from now it will be only better.

What a great skate!!! There were mistakes but they didn't take away from the performance. It was really HER moment. Brian said "I'm so proud of you" when they were hugging- I think that's how we all feel! I love how happy she was, I'm equally as happy. Don't care at all about the placement, this has been an overall good experience and I'm so happy she got her moment today. It's been so touching

From what I see so far she can come no lower than 9th place anymore

She needs either Samodurova (highly unlikely) or Konstantinova (more likely) to fail to go to Euros, provided that Tuktik doesn't recover by then. Of the other 4, 1 is Zagitova and the other 3 are juniors.

Just like that... She's back in the running for Euros... Even if Konstantinova beats her, Zhenya has had better results internationally this year. Not saying she'll definitely go, but there's a chance, I would say 50/50

If Evgenia is the #4 Senior (aka 3rd senior at nationals- assuming Liza is a lock) do you think they would send her to Euro’s, or would she just be the alternate?

Either way- this will have significantly helped her confidence.

Yes, her birthday is in August, so she's on the same age range as Trusova and Shcherbakova.

Yes she is still to young or rather turned 15 to late so she wasn't eligible for senior this year

I was crying when the crowd started clapping to the music during her skate. She did great today and I’m so proud of her! It’s reassuring to know how many people support and love her despite the difficulties she has encountered this season.

Without pressure, Zhenya can finally enjoy the match, just hope she can far away from those stress and enjoy every performances in the future. Her smiling face in adorable, that's the reason I love her, I hope we can see her smiley face in every tournaments. :luv17:
