Whyyyyes she fell, but she fought back, the rest was amazing she controlled the crowd like I haven't seen anyone else do. She made them go quite with a sign and then had them cheering with another sign, it was breathtaking to watch , and you can see how much fun she has. And she still won the whole competition,

Trust me, watch it! She won and most importantly, she seemed happy. It wasn‘t perfect and this was far from her best but this is a journey and Zhenya seemed content with that.

Yes, that‘s my red line too. As long as the drama stays there, I’ll read it, grin and shake my head and move on, without taking it seriously. (Really, most of the comments there are outrageously funny and hypocritical and absent of any logic whatsoever, so that’s really the only reaction you can reasonably have to that if you don’t want to get mad. ) There can be as much nasty comments as they want in the Edge but this fanfest is our safe Zhenya-supporting-place and we will defend it with all we‘ve got.

It was actually good. When she made mistakes in the grand prix, she gave up. Today she fought, and she was energized. And the fall was a minor one. She jumped right back up.

I love what she said about Liza. No matter what anyone says, this girl IS a great competitor, in defeat and victory. Not once has she said a bad word about her rivals. She is always classy and respectful.

She did not say that. Stop twisting the facts. She only said what any classy competitor would do: I respect her, she would deserve a spot too. She is honest and thoughtful but she‘s not stupid. She’s a seasoned competitor who has just won a competition, she would not go around and say that her rival was better, even though said rival lost. So, please not twist it like that.

Zhenya says that she respects Liza very much, as well as other girls, who competed today, that Liza gave everything today. She thanks her for pushing them all forward and make ppl fall in love with figure skating. She thinks that Liza deserves the Worlds spot and hopes that it will be this way. She says that she understands Liza's situation because it is the same as her own during oly season. So she wants everyone to support each other and spread love.

Zhenya is a real sportswoman!! It shows how great of a person she is to talk good about her competitors. Many other athletes should learn this.
