Evgenia must be so happy. I am sure she is training hard. I'm glad Misha Ge is at TCC. At worlds, she will have team members there for support.
 
A little stunned by this...
I can only think that they’re going with PCS where Liza struggles internationally. A huge part of me really wishes she didn’t have this pressure, but she’s going as third wheel. The big pressures will be on Zagitova (OGM) and Samodurova (EC2019) to perform and secure the spots so she’s not heading the Russian hopes. She’s really popular in Japan, they appreciate good skating over there, actually this might be a nice competition for her to stretch her wings again.
We’ll just have to cross everything until then! The team have done a fab job with her in the recent months, hopefully they can continue this and our girl will do great
 
I CANNOT believe my eyes!!!!!!! I'm soooo glad that we'll get to see her again, but I really hope she stays away from social media and interviews and all just like we will should stay away from the edge! Sending positive thought to her! I think that considering how many people LOVE her in Russia (which thankfully we all saw, including her which seems to have given her a huge amount of confidence) she will still be very well supported, and I know that the internet trolls are loud sometimes but she's got the love!

I did NOT expect this tbh.

I agree. I thought RusFed would send Liza over Zhenya.
 
You know, I hope she pours her whole heart in those 2 performances and has even greater results just to shut everyone up. I get it that people are butthurt over Liza not going (and partly me too), but they suck for immediately calling her names.
 
I'm so happy for Zhenya, and bummed for Liza at the same time. The feelings...But yes!!! I, actually, believe it could be good for Zhenya.
 
Happy fair Zhenya, sad for Liza. Tbh I don’t think I can handle another Zhenya comp this season... I get anxious as if I’ve had too much caffeine 😂
 
I'm also super excited and scared at the same time.
I don't want to think about the hate. I mean the Russian Fed made the decision and not Zhenya herself. I hope she has learned how to deal with it cause they'll never shut up.
 
Oh god. I can't believe it!

Ok, now please, please stay off social media, Zhenya, don't even touch that phone. I'll be praying for her to accomplish her best and also gonna follow my own advice and stay off the Russian Ladies thread and especially all the Russian platforms I'm usually checking 😂
