It‘s okay. Sometimes things like that happen. I have deleted my post too. I just don‘t want these kind of comments in here and after the last few days, Zhenya fans probably react quickly. I know many aren‘t satisfied with the decision and they can voice it anywhere but here because as Zhenya’s fans, we want to have a peaceful place. That‘s why I asked you to leave, normally I wouldn‘t do that either.

This must be a difficult situation for Evgenia, after this challenging season and with the suspect of what people are saying about her. I really hope the confidence she displayed at RCF doesn't abandon her, because she's going to need it at Worlds.
It would be awful if all the backlash affects her negatively and makes her mess up. How she got the spot is not her fault at all and she shouldn't be held accountable for it.
Anyway, I'm thrilled to see her compete again, because I must admit at the beginning of the season I didn't think she would make it to Worlds. I really think she can skate clean and prove again she's not done like most like to believe.

Same! I'll make sure to watch it live, but I don't know how I'm going to handle it. Maybe I'll try not to watch practice sessions and all that stuff beforehand, if I can hold off... I get worse jitters from her competitions this season than I ever had from any exams and the like in my life.

It wasn't even a close vote which no doubt blows all of our minds.
Zhenya has recovered from the leaving Eteri drama 9 months ago. This is a great opportunity for her. Her confidence is growing because her skating is improving.

I believe in her. I think she weathered the worst of the backlash and the transition period and has come out stronger. I think the new SP also brings out her confidence. I'm very glad that Worlds is in Japan where you can count on the audience to be supportive.
She didn't have anything to do with the vote. She worked hard to improve and unfortunately, Liza lost momentum with her illness. That's a real pity since I like them both, but Evgenia earned her spot. The end. And I have faith in her.

I wonder how the head of coach counselling (Tschaykovskaja) voted, after Zhenya's disastrous SP at RN she said a lot of very harsh things about Zhenya(like,she was done,just using other words). I am not trying to state anything, just really curious whether she changed her mind or not.

I have to admit, with everything going (and not going) on Medvedeva's career, I kind of expected she would have fizzled out by now.
Well home girl is still swinging and now going to worlds!!

Of course. Cos Jason Brown is going for Worlds & Tracy is Jason's chief coach.
TCC has Yuzuru, Jun Hwan, Jason, Gabby Daleman & Evgenia going for WC.
Historically, Brian & Tracy, Lee Barkell(for Gabby) went. This yr, Ghislain should also be going as Yuzuru's 2nd coach.
