I just got out of the Jonathan Van Ness comedy show in Baltimore, and he just spent about 20 minutes talking about Russian figure skaters (also gushing about Evgenia). 😂

yes, as much as we want her to stay off social media, she needs to learn to not let hate/unfounded critique get to her. I mean, the girl is away in Canada and wants to know what her friends back in Russia are doing. It's hard to not go on.

She has a private account for close friends and family. But yes agree.
 
Misha will go to Worlds, he posted a screenshot of the entries at Worlds and marked the 3 skaters he choreographed for and which are at Worlds including Evgenia with a message: See you there. So maybe we will see some Misha and Evgenia pics at practice or at the competition :)

He was asked in a livestream (??) who his favorite figure skater was. His answer (roughly translated):

Probably Evgenia. I especially like how she came back this season and is now going to the Worlds. That’s so cool. I‘m so proud of her and it’s an honour to train with her.

Great news! I‘m hoping to see him in the K&C with her.

I‘m being honest now: I really like Brian and I‘m thankful for what he‘s done for her. But he seems to be so so so nervous for his students and I fear that some of this might be affecting them. (Of course, it‘s just a sign that he cares but still) Tracy had such a calm presence when she was at the boards and in the K&C with Zhenya at the RCF. So, I kinda wish it could be her and Misha with Zhenya in the K&C. I know it’s not likely at all, given that Brian is her head coach. And it’s just my preference and Zhenya will do what she wants do to anyway. :biggrin:

I am also nervous about his nerves! But at Nationals during her free skate where he was very nervous Zhenya pulled out a good skate then. Fingers crossed.

He is going to have so many students there, hopefully the nerves will be dispersed evenly :laugh:
 
I agree about Tracy, she seems to be very calm and positive, and they were so sweet together at the Cup Of Russia. But I don't think that Brian's presence will have any negative impact on Zhenya.
The World Championships will start in about 2 weeks and I'm soooo nervous already. I am planning to watch live, but I don't know how I will handle it. :laugh:
 
Can’t wait for worlds to start! Hoping zhenya gets a confidence boost going in on the back of a win and being chosen for the team! Being in the final group will hopefully remind her she is still up there with the best in the world!
