Yes, that sounds exactly like something Zhenya would do. :laugh: You can say whatever you want about her but her practice outfits have been top notch this season.

I‘m missing her too but it‘s not for that long. We‘ll see her soon enough. And we know Zhenya. She will want to do her ultimate best and I think staying off of social media is a good idea.
 
Happy she is focusing and preparing well! Can’t wait for her skates! I’m nervous but excited, hoping I can bring myself to watch her skates before I look at the results! [emoji7][emoji304][emoji178]

It could be or tomorrow. Gaby mentioned the 16th but it is not clear if she meant arriving or leaving for Japan (on the 16th). If they arrive the 16th then they would have one day off without ice which isn't so bad!

it seems like it!!!! or at least by tomorrow, i would assume, since they are doing the send-off now. i’m very pleased with this — the first official practice for ladies i believe is on monday so zhenya will have a couple of days at least to get acclimated.

Lol. Tracy having her mom moments. They are all so precious awww. Also Evgenia is wearing super cute training clothes as usual. Her style is always on point.
 
I'm so excited for worlds! The competition will be stressful but it's always fun to see her condition in practice and see her around her international friends - and in her favorite country this time too!! Lots of content to look forward to, even for those of us who are nervous, good things are coming :)
 
Zhenya seems happy in cricket club. It is good that it is such an international group.

Hope she does well in worlds.

Her courage and perseverance have drawn me to her.

BTW, all the world's luck at the Worlds! Skate clean, be calm and happy, put a spell on the audience and, above all, leave Saitma satisfied with your performance!
 
Guys I'm just so emotional right now. I want more than anything for her to do well at Worlds and possibly medal. And I know she can do it because her jumps at practices have been so good. I know it's mostly a mental thing for her because she was so affected by all the hate this past year and the difficult transition. But she is so brave to move across the country and change everything about her life.

I know this season has been really hard for her. After winning everything nonstop for 2 seasons and even coming in 2nd as your worst result senior, it must have been really hard for her to have her first off podium finish this season (IdF). And the bronze at SCI was a first too. It was so hard for me to see her face fall after her score for the FP (it was clean-ish, but edge calls, spin downgrades, UR). Not making the Euro team for the first time. And only coming in 7th at Nationals, with a 14th SP. She had won Nationals twice before. And to come back to Worlds this year as the only 2-time previous ladies' champion participating. Actually, I believe she is (correct me if wrong) but the ONLY lady participating at Worlds this year to previously win.

I just want more than anything for her to do well and feel good about herself. Placements aside, I hope she is happy with her skate. But selfishly, I would like to see her with a medal. I can't even imagine how hard this season was for her. I want her to end it on a good note and feel proud of her accomplishments this season. Her last 2 FPs have been SO good with 1 mistake and I would love to see a clean FP from her. I would support her through anything though, even if Worlds doesn't go well.
 
I think this is the first time I have seen Blade the cricket in pictures! Let’s hope we see that beautiful blue crop top in Japan

This isn't the skating order for the SP though, only distribution in groups for practices prior to the SP. You can see when a country has more than 1 girl, they're all bunched up together, for example all Russians in group 6, all Canadians in group 7 and all Japanese in group 4.
However, as it was discussed in the Russian Ladies Thread, due to World Standings, Evgenia should skate in the last group for the SP. FS draw is almost immediately after the SP, and the group is determined on the SP rankings.

I'm really hopeful. I think that RusNats and RCF were good for her because it showed that she still has so much support and love. I think it was really pivotal for her to see that. Praying for happy, clean Zhenya :pray: :luv17:
