Agree with you on quads, apart from Anna, Sasha and Elizabet, I don't see anyone doing them next season, even Rika. Look at 3A, it's been like 25 or more years since ladies started doing it, and it is still a rare thing, done by only a handful of women. And actually now I believe that Zhenya will be able to fight at least for the third sport even without quad or 3A.
Also, Lilibet's BV wasn't higher than Alina's even with the quad. Zhenya could try more dificult combos and improve the Lutz and it should be enoughTracy really seems to bring more calmness. As watching Brian during Zhenya's FS at Nationals I even got worried about him. He was soo nervous.
Seems like our girl has another nickname to add to her list. Black panther I love the comparisionEvgenia MEDVEDEVA - EPIC! THE BLACK PANTHER (WC 2019)

German comentators are the worst and not just in skating; I watch F1 regularly and they are just the worst... worse than spanish comentators and that's not to be taken lightly. Although Spanish FS comentators are these very nice ladies Paloma and Susana and I just miss them.
don’t know if anyone already mentioned ekaterina’s post about zhenya, but gabriella papadakis reposted it in her story with a heart.so nice to see so much support behind our girl.
Yes, that‘s great! Mae Berenice Meite also complimented her. She really has the support of the figure skating community and it doesn‘t surprise me.
. She looks so happy.Anyone know where I can find a full stream of the press conference?
Apparently something about how Evgenia made a mistake or something similar. I am not a Russian speaker so I don't know the words and the Twitter translation tools sometimes give the wrong impression. Anyone able to translate?

And you know what I‘m going to do in the off-season? Re-watch her programs this season, starting from the test skates. She overcame herself. I‘m so excited to see what‘s ahead.
I don’t post much on GS at all and this is my first time on this thread, but I’ve been a long time lurker. Just wanted to stop by to comment as I got up at 5am today to watch the ladies’ long live from my hotel room on an international work trip where my NBC gold doesn’t work so it was the only way to watch it. Zhenya’s fist pump at the end of that spectacular skate was one of the most warrior moments I’ve seen in skating (it reminded me of Michelle Kwan after her Tosca LP at 2004 nats—after she also had been written off, was also injured, and had also just delivered against all odds when it counted the most—the combination of such grace with such brutal recognition of what had just been survived). Zhenya’s ferocious strength of spirit has made me such a hard core fan. It was spine tingly. I cannot wait to see where she goes from here. That she returned to the podium in the same year that she began a massive overhaul of technique is close to unmatched in ladies skating that I can think of.
