There are more than enough reasons to dislike Eteri, but what Rodina sometimes says on her “show” sounds kind of absurd. So... anyways, her “insider info” should be taken with a grain of salt.

Me too! From what I could gather it is a decorating show, where Natasha Barbier redecorates peoples gardens and sometimes rooms :) Sounds like a super fun show. I imagine Zhenya's grandmothers garden will be the one decorated in the show :)
 
As for the Ice Age show. I‘m happy she‘s not doing it, to be perfectly honest. The fabricated drama in the media, the fanwars over who the better TV personality is or some other rubbish, the fact that it might interfere with her training... No, thank you.

Besides, I‘d prefer not to see Zhenya work with a certain co-host ever again. (And I‘m obviously NOT talking about Alina here!) :)

Alina will do just fine in her role as the host. And Zhenya‘s not lacking in opportunities, she‘ll get other things to do. For now, the focus is on the new season anyway.

And I really don‘t want to be a negative Nancy but her technique on the 2A looks like the old one to me. Am I imagining it? I hope she didn’t forget what she learned with Brian during quarantine and went back to the old muscle memories. :scratch2:

I also don’t want to be negative, Zhenya is my favorite, but these jumps don’t look good at all [emoji37]
 
A little note. The new clips from Zhenya's training were not from today, my mistake, sorry, corrected that in my original post now. The clips were filmed at the beginning of August when Olympic Russia visited Zhenya at CSKA and were just published today

Why? They're all fully rotated. Looks a bit labored, Flip looks a bit more prerotated than it has the past year, but we've seen Zhenya improve drastically as it gets closer to competition time and time again. We didn't really see enough footage to get any sense of where she is at with her training right now.

That footage was only a couple of weeks after a 2 week quarantine. I thought the jumps looked good. :)

Well if i understand it correctlythose are videos taken at the beginning of august , they are notvideos from todaystraininh. And early august would mean shortly after she arrived back in russia, so in that light those jumps look good.

I mean... august last 1 month ago. I tend to get really nervous before competitions, and specially now, before Test Skates. I’m barely concentrating on my studies. It’s been so long since we saw these skaters the last time, and the past season had so many ups and downs that I simply can’t wait until test skates.

Do you know the exact date? Is it saturday/sunday?

Saturday is the short and Sunday is the long. And then the following weekend is the first cup of Russia. After nearly 9 months we will see her two weekends in a row. :yahoo:

Also, I'm just so proud of Zhenya for continuing to fight. I get emotional thinking about how she said she would have quit long ago it weren't for her supporters. She loves making us happy and she's going to keep doing what she loves because that's her character :)
