Um, Michelle and Tara skating forums were brutal. Some of us have been around long enough to remember it.
Does anyone know why Medvedeva isn’t hosting with Zagitova?

One can surmise because she's going to skate in several events this season and would not have the time to devote to Ice Age kids. It would have been great to see Zhenya and Alina doing that show. Who knows Thrasher maybe zhenya will make a special appearance.

Good catch. Yes. Zhenya is between 5'4 and 5'5 now.

That doesn't matter to me, I don't see Zhenya as a celebrity of the show, I see her as an athlete. And as an athlete I want her to be able to work in a healthy environment where she takes pleasure in doing what she loves, which is skating. Unfortunately that will no longer be the case no matter how much they want to sell us something else. It is clear how everything happened and that is why I know that she will not be well.

As a fan I want her to feel good and be free. I'm not interested in seeing her on a TV show.

Oh come on a special appearance on Ice Age kids would be fun for Zhenya. The Russian people who were ridiculously angry with her when she left EG two and a half years ago will put that to the side and welcome her back with open arms.

Maia everybody here sees Eevgenia as an athlete. But she likes to have fun and she even smiles in the tough times and she's smiling a lot now that she's back with her old team. I think you think this will be 100% EG in control of Zhenya. I guarantee she went back to TT with some assurances that things won't be exactly like they used to be if you know what I mean and I think you know what I mean.

Very interesting. I don't think Evgenia will have that hostage look on her face.. and who knows maybe Sergei or Polina will be with Zhenya at the first competition. Or if EG has another
Skater right after Jenna then she might be with that skater and not Jenna. That would be understandable and not an insult.

Normally I'm a half glass empty not a half glass full type of man. But I'm more positive about this surprising coaching change than most people.

I believe Zhenya has assurances that things won't be as rigid as they were before when she was at TT and that
Zhenya will have more say with prgrams, her injuries and her diet. Only time will tell though but I say let's give them that time.

I agree with you. Her eyes no longer shine and her smile is no longer the same. The sadness is reflected in her face

Just because a person draws a smile on their face does not mean they are genuinely smiling.

I agree with you.

I never wanted to mention that example here because it seems very strong to me but it is not far from the reality you mention.

I hope we never have to regret a similar situation here.

It's unexpected decision from her and I'm worried for her health. Her wealth will be a priority with Eteri? Was it with Elizabet Tursynbayeva? Why with Eteri? Why not with Panova or someone else?

One last word about seeing the true image at tge boards, I also wouldn't trust it that much. I remember there was this big press-conference with ET, Zhenya and Alina in Moscow right after the OG. They were smiling, joking ang hugging for the photos. Now we know that they repationshis were already strained at the time. And I would have never guessed it. Anyway, enough with that. I really hope they can make it work again and make each other stronger as an athlete and as a coach. Go, Zhenya!!

After watch the SP of 1 stage of cup .. I think maybe zhenya should have gone ... even with falls she would medal probably .. Anybody knows if she is going to the 2 stage?
