I have mixed feelings about this comp because of the media (and how they may spin it when one of the team wins or loses (either way really)) but I am glad to see she is so happy

"Two-time world figure skating champion Evgenia Medvedeva shared her expectations for the team tournament, which starts on February 5 in Moscow.
- I am a little excited, because for me this is the first experience of participating in such a competition in Russia. This is the first tournament to be held in this format.
But, as a person who participated in team competitions at both the Olympics and the World Team Championships in America, in Japan, I want to say that this tournament is much different from the usual ones. The atmosphere there is so cheerful, festive, and these tournaments left only positive emotions for me.
I think my role is precisely to recreate this atmosphere of the team tournament and to help the guys feel this atmosphere, that they are not alone.

If I was producing this show, I would blindside them with an impromptu competition of some sort for the right to have the first pick tomorrow.
