I write what i wrote in the russian ladies chat..Well i doubt anyone is surprised that eteri in her interview again placed the blame for students eating habits, injury and not lasting past 18 either on said skater or there familys , really sorry to say but seperating an underaged child from her mother and saying it was an agreement and the basically saying and look what happened after her mother moved to the same city is such a red flag in my Opinion. Saying that the injury from another student came because she let go of her weight controll? When we know that that isnt even true, since said student was as thin as always and openly admitted that she was weighwise at her lowest in said season? Where in this is she actually acting like a responsible adult trainer? Where did she help these students ? Instead she talks about another studen and taking away food from her? Like its completely ok?. . Yes the situation with sasha and the dog was funny and cute but really she shoud know better than again talk in that way about past students . I actually was ready to give her a tiny chance last year. But th fact that she even dared to talk like this about alinas mother? I was shocked because literally Alina has never said a bad word about her and eteri does this? She might just make alina angry with that. Because if i was alina and my extrainer said this about the fact that my mother is at fault for my career ending far too soon? I would be more than angry (i know this is zhenyas fancorner and normally inwould not talk about other skaters in here ) but damm how can she talk about it like everything she just said is totally normal and great?

Because Alina, Zhenya and Yulia are no longer useful to her 🤷‍♀️She is not stupid, if she has good phrases for Sasha it is because she needs her, just like Kamila and Anna. She no longer needs Aliona so they have spent a year bombing her, Daria was not useful so they blamed her for her injury, the girls are only objects that are used and when they are not useful they are thrown away. 🤷‍♀️
I'm honestly angry but not surprised (pretends to be shocked gif) I've been waiting for Eteri to say things against Zhenya since the August interview, she didn't disappoint.
I must also admit that I feel a bit of satisfaction that Zhenya continues to bother her years later 🙆‍♀️😈😌 while Evgenia finished with this topic and moves on :coffee:Eteri is still stuck in the same thing.

Fran made a pretty good video about this interview on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vp9G55NZZI

It's obviously the drilling, the technique, the starvtion, and the dehydration that caused her injuries, not a slight weight gain. Eteri seems like a narcissist who cannot take any accountability for anything negative in her life. Obviously, she has produced some wonderful skaters, including one whom I believe to be the greatest of all time, but she destroys their bodies and sometimes their psyches in the process without remorse or accountability.

Zhenya's best skating arguably came in 2019 under Orser's direction, and the very first thing he did with her was have her gain weight, and he has also produced some wonderful skaters, including the obvious male G.O.A.T., so Eteri, while unarguably one of the greatest coaches in the sport, is hardly the ultimate authority on technique and optimum weight. Mishin currently has two successful women who have lasted past the usual retirement age of Eteri's skaters, and neither of them are constantly injured.

As far as Alina goes, she was a child after the Olympics. That's why you don't dress her in a skintight tiger suit and make her writhe seductively on the ice while chiding her for wanting to spend time with her mother, like you had promised her she could. 😠

I can only imagine the psychological and emotional damage that she has likely caused these girls, and I hope they are able to quickly move past it once they are away from her.

for me this topic is complex and controversial. Probably not even for this thread.

From an interview with Tutberidze, I realized that for her the 2018 Olympics were largely overshadowed - primarily by the fatal illness of her mother, which was revealed when Eteri was already in a training camp in Japan. She didn't even know if she would have time to return and see her mother alive again. But at the same time, Eteri was very worried when she saw how painfully Evgenia took her second place.

And this:

- How did you come to terms with her transition?

I didn't have to come to terms with it. She left, I had no choice.

Eteri's face was not shown at that moment, and by her voice I understood why - she was ready to burst into tears. Even now.

Who was right and who was not in matters of weight gain or program change - I do not want to discuss. Here anyone can interpret everything in one direction or the other. All this kind of brought me back to the days when Zhenya lost to Alina. Very sad.

I think that not even ET knows what she feels. :scratch2: I tried to justify her behavior with the death of her mother, because I believed that losing Evgenia and knowing that she would lose her mother was too much for her but at this point it is pathetic, she continues with the narrative " I raised her" "she left me" "she is guilty for losing the jjoo" invalidating her effort, this hurts zhenya a lot and Eteri knows it.
Evgenia probably wanted to talk about it, but Eteri continued as if nothing had happened so Zhenya had to deal with her own feelings alone.😓

Yeah, Eteri makes everything about herself except for blame. "I made these skaters everything they are, and all their accomplishments are mine," and "These students victimize me, yet I selflessly carry on, doing my best to help even the fat, lazy, and ungrateful ones to become champions," are the two main themes of all her narratives. :cautious:

I came to leave that haha, it looks beautiful I liked the magazine concept.
she is also promoting Sing :cheer:
