I didn't stay for it but I can tell you from other past viewings that it is heavily edited to fit in the time slot. Unfortunately, I doubt you will see any Novice winners unless there was one who really brought down the house.

It was ok... but because so many skaters used Sexy Back it got old in a hurry....

Evan skated his Short Program because Daniel O'Shea (the Novice Men's Champ) skated to the same song as Evan's exhibition number is, which I thought was a nice gesture (to the crowd as well as to the skater who skated first)

On the telecast they said Evan skated his SP because he was supposed to skate to Ave Maria but Johnny skated to it.

well that makes sense too - I was just going by what I was hearing around me in the rink... either way it works... wish some of the sexy back skaters loved the audience enough to do the same
