Mao's step sequences in her SP & LP

I find that her SP steps really gorgeous and very difficult. But I personally feel that it may look even more gorgeous if it was a serpentine step sequence, rather than a straightline step sequence. She uses really a lot of deep zig-zag curves. It takes far longer than I usually expect for a straightline step sequence to be excuted, and a part of me feels a bit inpatient. So I felt like why not using a serpentine if she needs to skate such a long distance?

On the other hand, I really love the straightline steps in her LP that are so light and quick.

Ladies: Zhang SP - lovely
Dance: Belbin and Agosto OD - very fun and playful and FD - love the softer look they're bringing to their skating this year.
Men: Lysacek SP and most especially his Tosca! Dynamite!
Pairs: no opinion - haven't been able to see enough to know.

I love jeffrey Buttle's short and long programs. I just hope he gets it together for Canadian Nationals. His skating is so beautiful to watch with all the fancy and difficult footwork. He is so nice to look at too. Just too cute.
