Senior Ladies Final Result

FPl. Name Points SP FS
1 Alena Kostornaia 216.70 1 1
2 Anastasia Gubanova 2 2
3 Daria Panenkova 191.67 3 5
4 Sofia Istomina 190.40 6 3
5 Anastasia Gulyakova 190.34 5 4
6 Polina Tsurskaya 188.19 4 7
7 Anna Tarusina 187.51 7 6
8 Alena Leonova 179.32 8 8
9 Ekaterina Ryabova 172.16 9 9
10 Valeria Mikhailova 167.63 10 10
11 Lidia Yakovleva 158.28 11 11

Kostornaia got "!" at Luts (and edge was really flat) which she did not get both at national and international competitions. Probably this and not so good jumps of Trusova and Panenkova is because Dudakov is in Korea for long time. He will be in Moscow in few days and hope at JrWorlds (5-11 Mar) Trusova and Kostornaia will be in good state.

Gubanova is much better than in near past, but her jumps are way worse than 3 years ago or so. She did not adapt to her new body.

Istomina (born 24 Dec 2001, she is 16, coach Goncharenko - former coach of Radionova) never was promising. Now she is.

Gulyakova is unstable, it is her main problem.

Tsurskaya - not so good, she permanently is not so good after her first serious injury at March 2016. Now worse than usual.

Tarusina - nice girl, but not enough clean.

Leonova - she got her relatively high score only because high PCS. In FS her TES is lowest 51.36. Probably her time is over.

Mikhailova - she can be at her best only for short time at most important competitions (Rostelecom Cup, Nationals).

Imo, Tarusina is a kind of skater, who could become world medalist after 2 years in Tutberidze group.
She basically has it all, but need polish asap.

Tutberidze already has five high level Junior skaters (and al least one pre-junior, Akatieva).

Too many high level Junior Ladies - it becomes a problem.

I think so too. She's very good at many things but not that polished. Her skating skills have some promise also, with a bit of work.

Of course, her not being so polished likely is due to her missing almost all of last season with her shattered leg.

WHY??!! Daria practically never URs.... and now they called it for her on the loop. Was it really UR? or nah.... why is her GOE on everything literally so low? the only ones I understand are the Lo and the second Lz mess up thing... why is she underscored? her jumps are gorgeous and get the worse GOEs than Gubanova's ugly toe jumps...
Dasha have toe axel in her toeloop though. You can see it in her 2T<< gif that some user posted. And her 3Lo is obvious UR in slow mo. I really like her flip and lutz jump but today call is not wrong

What is the meaning of "B" and "sN" in the protocols?

B is bonus. They seem to give 2 bonus points for quads and 1 bonus point for lvl 4 spins if they have at least +2 GOE

And I believe nS means no sit position for the combination spin, nC no camel and nU no upright. But I'm not 100% on the spin stuff.

"B" means bonus - for Level4 spin on GOE +2 or higher or for quad jump.

"nS" means no sit position in combo jump, "nC" no camel, "nU" no upright. In Russia in protocols is indicated which position is not counted, not only "V" which means that one of three positions in combo spin is not counted. Info for skater and coach.

Translation: They want Gubanova to go seniors next season
If they did, she would have placed above Konstantinova and would have been sent to jr worlds. Because she wasn't, she essentially is forced to stay at juniors next season. So no, they don't want Gubanova to go senior next season. If they did, they would have made her go to jr worlds.

And of course, "boring footwork"...

Probably they (federation) wanted Konstantinova to seniors more than Gubanova, Gubanova more than Panenkova.
