Hello, I’m in south Florida and I’m interested in getting fitted for Grafs due to their low heel. But it seems like none of the surrounding rinks order from graf they only offer Jackson and edea. Does anyone have advice how I can get fitted for them?

Hi and welcome! I can give you that info, but first, do you have the proper foot type for Graf to fit properly. I would hate for you to go for them and it not work out.

Hi and after reading some forums I assume so. I have Greek type with a wide ball of foot and mid arch. I currently use Jackson ultima elite boots and while I love the fit the high heel is pushing me to the ball of my foot and causing me sole pain in that area.

So you have a wide toebox? You may or may not be able to fit Graf. You can try though.

Do you need a Graf boot suggestion?

The only place in FL would be

Ice Factory of Central Florida

Btw thanks for the welcome; Yes I did measure my ball of foot area and measured 12cms wide. Do you think that’s too wide for them; if so what other brand do you suggest with a shorter heel?

It's almost impossible to measure the circumference of your own feet, which should be done by a fitter while you're standing and sitting but not bending over which will alter the pressure on your foot. For instance, I wear Graf Edmonton Specials and love the lower heels, which are comfortable for my high arches. But my slightly wider left foot measures 6.5.cm across the sole at the ball of the foot and 17.5 cm in circumference at the same place. Which measurement did you mean?

I'm assuming that's the width across the sole at the ball? Whether that's too wide for Graf I guess depends on the size of the boot you were trying on. Mine are semi-custom to my measurements and came labelled as s 2 SS (Super Slim). The regular sizes without customization are larger. I hope you can get a Graf that fits, since I think you'd love them. So comfortable! @Ic3Rabbit suggested I try them as a change from my usual Risport RF1 boots and I'm happy with them.

Yes the width across the sole at the ball. I did it standing on top of the tape measure. I also measured length the same way and came out to 28cm. As to which boot exactly I would go for I have no idea. I’m not familiar with Graf except for the fact that they’re lower in heel with a rounded toebox. Thanks for your input.

Again, as @Diana Delafield suggested, you cannot measure your own foot especially with a tape measurer. You need to go to a fitter and have them properly measure and outline your feet to get a proper fitting and correct measurements. Otherwise, you are just wasting money on boots that will probably not work.

Have things done the correct way the first time with a proper fitter and fitting and you should be fine.
