Hi and thanks.
What program did you use?
iMovie. It is coming up short in some aspects (burning DVDs and FPS causing some shakies in the video - mainly the stupid sponsors on the board in skate vids only, can't control FPS when I am making iDVDs) but didn't have any real issues with this vid. But it was all iMovie. The pic effects were CFX additions / plug-ins for iMovie.
Any directions would be appreciated. Thanks for such a lovely look at those lovely ladies.
Ummm, transitions with the music and don't over fill with images at the same time are the biggest thoughts I have. If you look at or remember the Fumie 2006 you'll see that I used to much going at the same time and it gets confusing / muddy - one at a time with blend, no dead time. How many people in a photo should be the designating factor in how many seconds for each pic IMO. 3-4 for one, 4-5 for 2, etc... but NEVER more than 8 second for a pic IMO. Theme the transitions - don't use every trans you have in one song / segment. Cross fades and overlaps mostly and a "fancy" ones when there is a "crescendo" or something. But sometimes a short cross dissolve trans or none at all can be powerful depending on the image or music.
I do these for funerals, family scrapbooks and one wedding so far. After the ones I did for my own family I learned and studied peoples reaction to what they liked or didn't. The last 4 have all had video that I ask "what places in town are special to them" and go film it for the background and then put the pics over the top of it panning in / out / etc... Use favorite colors for frames.... Instead of using Ken Burns effect, I use the "picture in clip (moving)" to control the focus of the image. I did use Ken Burns for the background like the vid for one song and it worked nicely. The problem with "moving pictures" is resolution, and always make my pics no bigger than 4 inches (using Photoshop) and depixelate just before I size and crop them. Some lines in pics I will fully blend / blur for they will throw an array pattern like are often found on Dick's ties. Always keep the pictures properties of size, don't stretch types of things - also made this mistake, and is in Fumie's 2006 vid for example.
If you have any direct question feel fee to ask. Heck Dee I would even give you my number if you wanted to call:agree: - but maybe I wont answer

J/K For some odd reason I totally trust you even if you don't like Stacy
RD, I am disappointed in how little I had of Angela in the practice vid. I may have 80% of it in the Beautiful Ice video. But it doesn't have the lens flares and effects so you might like it. I do also have the 2 programmes that she skated in Ice wars but neither one of those has sound from the show - I guess I was already thinking ahead that I would put my own music in.???? I am sure you like resolution so if there is a different way you would like to see them let me know. I am downloading onto YT the 24 second clip of Angela's fluff right now.
