I prefer Yu-na's new LP dress to her previous one which did nothing to accentuate her lithe body line. She looks more lithe and ethereal in the new one. On the other hand I'm not too crazy about Mandy Moore's Only Hope - I don't think she's a good singer and she sounds like she's tone deaf when she sings that song. But anyhow, Yu-na chose that song herself so go figure. I didn't like Just a Girl either. I wonder what her gala costume is going to look like.

she says in her interview that she's a little nervous because of the pressure of competing in korea, and they say she's been training very hard on the 3-loop. she also has a new exhibition program to mandy moore's song. she picked out the song herself.

I agree Yuna's new LP dress is more flattering on her. The reporter says it's not finished, the designer will work on the fit and put some ornaments(is it a right word-ornaments?? I think they will add some rhinestones).

The new SP dress looks pretty and subtle in color coordination, maybe the skirt is little shorter than the previous one and really accentuates her beautiful body line.

Can't wait to see her new exhibition!! I never liked the movie 'a walk to remember', so tacky and teeny, but the song is just beautiful. It makes you feel like you want to fall in love!!(OMG, I'm so tacky!!)

Fuji TV aired today Miki and others' arrival scene at the Seoul airport. Mao is said to be on the plane tomorrow.
Also aired Miki landing 4S back on Feb. 4th, in practice with the music.
She seemed very happy, on and off the ice.

SBS also aired Daisuke and Miki's arrival at the airport.
Daisuke said he wishes to show powerful man's skating to the audience, how cool!!
Miki looked so chic in black sunglasses like a movie star.

There's a report on practice from korean skating board that Daisuke looked very strong.(not much detail on jumps)
Also Jeff Buttle had a great practice landing all of the 3A he attempted.

thoe dresses are beautiful and suit her much more than the harst bright colors she had been wearing for the GP.

Yu-Na has withdrawn from 4CC, so a discussion of her new costumes would probably be more appropriate in a WORLDS 2008 thread.

Thanks for the clips. Her loop looks very good, and Only Hope is a great fit for her- she says in the clip that she felt a bit awkward with Just A Girl because it was her first time with that kind of a program. On the other hand, the new LP dress is rather bleh...

Mandy Moore's version of Only Hope is what I used last year for my interpretive fs program all the way through Adult Canadians and into the summer. Yuna has a great coach in Brian Orser. I know this because I was at his Skating Seminar this past summer and even though I was sick during it, Brian's tips really helped me with my skating. It's too bad that Yuna is staying here in Canada and not competing at 4CC.

This week Fuji TV sports news is airing bits of 4CC each night, aside from the scheduled coverage.
Tonight they showed Mao's arrival, Miki's practicing 4S to her music on the rink in Goyang, Daisuke's rehearsing his hip-pop steps there.

The Korean news reported on practices. There was a clip of Miki landing a beautiful quad, and the reporter said that although she struggled with correcting her jump technique this season, in practice she has not missed a single lutz or flip. Takahashi and Lysacek both did quads, and there was a clip of Mao at the airport.

I have a feeling Miki will take this one...

Although I dont think Miki will win...how I hope she lands the quad I love that she can land them and it would be great to see her land them consitantly in competition.

I also hope Joannie, Cynthia Phaneuf & Kimmie Meissner do well.

Actually, I hope every lady brings it.:agree: That would make the competition QUITE exciting
