at the olympics? i doubt it... with the current and depleted pairs field... think it requires 2 strong pairs to make one team, + the team event + the pairs discipline itself... I can see Russia being able to have a good team, and that's about it... Canada and USA would get it done but we would see how it goes... and China? Who knows? They used to always have great juniors coming up to replace their top seniors but it's been difficult for them even.... To get to the Olympics, the sport would need significant wide spread representation... about 8-10 countries from 3 continents... So until Japan, Korea and perhaps another a couple more teams in Europe (Italy, Germany, France) get involved, it's not happening... I would think Syncrho has a better chance to make it to the games at this point.. and that is a very slim chance...
