Interesting selections of music there!

I'm not quite getting Tessa Virtue's description of the Mahler piece here:
"....the essence of the piece is colourful, it's really joyful,..."

Gustav Mahler's 'Symphony No. 5' I always associate with the film 'Death in Venice' starring Dirk Bogarde, as the soaring dramatic strings played out over a sad, melancholic end.

But I'm very much looking forward to seeing their interpretation.

Unfortunately 7.15pm here in the UK - clashing with Strictly Come Dancing (our DWTS TV show) so will have to catch up with the thread and all the news later. ;)
But thanks in advance! :)

HERE WE GO!!!!

They're introducing judges & the skaters are waiting to enter the coliseum, lol. ;)

I don't get these outfits with the BIG eyeball on the back of each one, literally!

Daring program, avante garde music (is that the correct spelling?), different that's for sure. :)

love the American Woman music!!!!!

Not bad at all, stumble by the Hubbell brother on a twizzle, but I love their lifts (reminiscent of A&P). :)

:cry:personal note: I had absolutely NO glitches yesterday, but today my reception is not so good, more than a couple of glitches. Maybe because it's poring here in Seattle...

sorry, can't stand the music, bombastic, fall by Carron & Jones from France, also he seems to skate faster than her & their twizzles looked far apart to me. Nevertheless, good job. :)
