Toni, I have a suggestion for you - Turn. Off. The. TV. We did it just before our son was born - we moved it to the basement, so that we would only watch it when there was really something to see. Since then, I've watched less than 20 hours TV total since then (6.5 months now), and that was mainly the Olympics and the the presidential debates. I think it did me a lot of good to Turn. It. Off!
