wait so you're saying p/c's skating skill is better than shibs? ummm I don't think skating skill is the thing that p/c is that much superior to the shibs. Cizeron is definitely great if we're talking about skating skill but i'm not sure about gabby. it's p/c's thread I don't wanna say bad thing about them, but in my opinion one of the biggest weakness of p/c is the gap between their skating skill, both v/m and shibs are wayyyy more balanced.
In france tooMaybe the music :/
Hey guys !
If you're curious to know what Gabriella and Guillaume skating to "Tristan and Isolde" would look like, take a look :
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nXJG7JUlR3Q
I did my best to synchronize the music with their movements...and I added a nice edit at the end of the video
(However the quality of the video is not so good, I'm sorry...I had originally posted a version with their 2018 Worlds performance...but it's been blocked)
I would love to see them skate on a wagnerian piece, it would suit their style so perfectly...
So if any of you watch it, give me your impressions
Thanks![]()
Thanks to both of you!
I uploaded the montage again with some changes -it should work now

Oh wow! Yes, such impressive work, Whiteboredom! The fluidity of their movements become more prominent with 'Tristan and Isolde'. I've actually always been in love with this music, particularly when it was used so well in the beginning of Lars Von Trier's movie 'Melancholia'.
Thank you very much!
I'm glad you like it !
I agree, "Tristan und Isolde" is a masterpiece, and this prelude enhances the amplitude and the quality of their movements. I thought it was a perfect match...
(Especially when you know that Tristan and Isolde wish they could merge into one - the famous "Ich bin Tristan"/"Ich bin Isolde" area - and Gabi and Guillaume move just as if they were one being, embracing the poetry of it all).
"Melancholia" was remarquable, as most of Lars Von Trier's movies (although I understand some explicit contents from his filmography are not everybody's cup of tea...But it's not the case in Melancholia).
Anw, thank you very much !
I'm afraid it's a widespread belief now.
