So, whatever happens this weekend, my absolute one and only wish (beside my typical and justified "fair judging for everyone") is for them to skate clean, to the best of their abilities, and to have fun on the ice, liked they showed us the previous competitions
I actually wish that for all the competitors this weekend. Ice Dance usually saves the GP series by not having whole meltdown events.

Yep, I heard when I was in Gadbois that Hilary Selby will be Tech Controller at OG. I hope she will be confirmed as Tech Controller as she is a great judge imHo.
Yay!!!!!!! I was hoping for them to lead...with both teams clean, just to confirm that last year's SD trend had been reversed. Now I just hope this remains the case for the free and means that the Olympics will be won by the team that truly performs best on the day and not be a seemingly foregone conclusion...that was my concern after last year.

. I'm working and I'm trying to breathe again! First and it isn't because virtue and Moir made a mistake cause no one did clean performance from both team and Gabby and Guillaume are in the first place. I know there still the free but I want to enjoy this result! To bad I have to get back on my work, I want to watch that dance again and again!

At first I thought they had barely beaten V/M with one more level than them, but looking at the protocol it seems they won with the exact same BV. That is such a great sign, even though Tessa and Scott were weirdly off today. I thought Gabi and Guillaume were cautious but not particularly stressed or nervy, which is a huge improvement on last season. Hopefully they will be cool and relaxed for the free. Sadly I won't be able to watch live :sad21:
