Giada Russo

Has she ever performed to the Piano soundtrack by Michael Nyman? If not, I think she should!

Anyway, thanks for creating the nice place to talk about the young and talented skater.
 
Giada is skating SP today at 15.30 appr. There is live streaming but not good quality I'll have a look again later to see if I can see her
 
^ Yeah Giada is in serious need of a good jump coach. Could we send her to Mishin or someone else?:)

She has such an explosive yet extremely expressive upper body, it's fascinating to watch. Skaters I enjoy the most are the one with a very distinctive way to move and usually they all have great upper body movements which allow them to truly dance on ice and not only skate. But she does need to work on those jumps or else ...
 
Does anyone know which competition she will enter this season ? I thought she could be present at Lombardia but I can't see her name.
 
Finally the new SP from Giada and she is as mesmerizing as always. So compelling the way she moves, love it, she deserves more recognition IMO (that's said I do not know much about singles, I'm just an ice dance fan but her, I love to watch)

i was also delighted to finally see her new program. she received depressing pcs, though... whatever one thinks of her skating skills, her interpretation, performance, choreo should be at least 7s. very nice program. the music would probably overshadow most skaters but she really has a presence... and knows how to fill the arena with herself. artistic. can't wait for the fs.
 
Many thanks for posting these, I was waiting for them! It's a true pity that she is not as consistent in the tech department...I really think that as far as the interpretation and the capacity of feeling the music she is better than most of the top skaters.
