Not to be rude to Finland - but I'm really not a fan of all the red trim everywhere, it looks like they're skating in the middle of Costco.

That’s a legit sport category, I noticed it even though I’ve never watched any actual competitions of it.

You can’t just pull 20 (or how many) people of the gym and have them do in synch giant propellers on the ice.

I know, they even take into consideration synchronized skating would become an olympic sport. But you're right, Russians could make a team (maybe even two) just from their top ladies

Me too, I just saw some programs by chance, therefore I know it exist as international sport And yes, this year Finland won, that's probably why they show their synchro skaters at every opportunity (Russia won in last two championschips, 2016 and 2017, this year they were 3rd).
