I was sad for her, but I thought she really improved in the spins, spirals, presentations department...love how she does that Caroline move with with her layback (although I think Kayla Catch is credited for it)

I love Takahashi's SP. Usually, I find men's programs less entertaining than ladies but I thought Takahashi's SP was probably the most entertaining skate I've seen this season period.
 
Really, comcast doesn't carry espn360? Wow, it was totally random that I decided to go with Verizon instead of Comcast, guess that was lucky... Maybe you can switch over to Verizon before the next big comp?

I loved it! Maybe it's just the clip, but she seems faster and smoother than before. Her 3-3 looks about the same as it always did, although the one at her CoC LP is her best so far. Overall, it looks to me like she has just improved. Her spirals are steadier now with longer, held positions. Her footwork sequence also looked to have more flair this time around. She should be in first place.

I fully expect Yu-Na to rebound from what looked like a completely inadvertent mistake in the SP and win this whole thing. Hopefully, Caroline can at least get a silver with all the biased judging going on. I've never cared much for Mao's skating although I can appreciate the aesthetic quality of it, but I'm really starting to feel for the poor girl. IMO, the mistakes she has been making are not like Yu-Na's; the errors are not simply careless ones and they seem to indicate that Mao is troubled. She looks it off the ice, too.

Thank you CTT. Kevin skated extremely well for him. Yes, he could pick the speed up a bit but the music is rather adagio like. I have to look at the protocols and see what they gave him for that 4x3. Looked excellent.

His costume looked somewhat like designed from a page in an Anatomy book on the Network of the Arteries and Veins.

I would confirm him as an elite skater but I wish he would get a new costume designer and Lori Nichol to do his choreography.
