not guilty! I'm very lucky in that I haven't needed to do that, yet. I  my natural hair color (I'm a brunette).

Do you still have your appendix?

Yes, I still have my appendix but I don't have a gallbladder. It was full of stones and was removed with endoscopy when I was 20 (the doctor was surprised someone so young has so many stones, and the issue was discovered during a kidney exam where the gallbladder full of stones appeared in the imaging too)

Do you still have your gallbladder?

Well, I live in Tokyo and Tokyo is a coastal metropolitan area. From here I can reach the ocean in about 1 hr 15-20 minutes (I live in west Tokyo). It’s pretty to take a cruise at Tokyo Bay and see the city views from the boat.

Does the temperature in your location reaches 40 degrees during summer? 🥵

I need to do a conversion to Fahrenheit to figure this out. We have had @ least a week and a half of 90 degree plus (Fahrenheit scale) temperatures in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with high humidity, but we're nowhere near as hot as in southern Arizona, where summer temperatures can get past 110 degrees (dry heat, though).

Do you use a hair dryer/blow dryer to dry your wet hair?

Here the summer is very long, extremely humid and heat index goes beyond 40 degrees (sorry I don’t know Fahrenheit, nowhere I lived uses it). 🥵😖

No, I let my hair (long) dry always naturally after washing, I don’t even own a hair dryer 😂 I do have a hair iron to style my side swept fringe sometimes, when the summer humidity is so bad, but I only use this iron once in a while and only for the fringe.

Can you fall asleep quickly?

No, I absolutely hate mornings.
I’m at my peak performance in the evenings.

Do you like doing face skin care every day?

No, thankfully 😅 I see curly hairs people and to myself I wonder how to make that hair more straight 😂 I would be upset if my hair were curly or turned curly! Bad enough here the extreme heat summer is very very humid so people’s hairs become like with an electric appearance (sorry, English is not my first language and I have no idea how to explain what the extreme humidity does to even the straightest hairs around here) but is a good thing they have all kinds of products made specifically to use in this time of the year and I know many people who go to the salon to have their natural straight hair restraightened (the product they use works like a sealant against humidity).

Do you have vivid dreams when you sleep?

Oh, I knew it was humid but I did not realize it was so humid and it could have such an effect on your hair (or never really thought of it). Wow!

As for dreams, guilty. Very vivid. Sometimes I need a while to actually realize it was a dream.... :)

Do you find it easy to learn foreign languages?

In my case, guilty (Hebrew - since age 8, French, since 9th grade, & Spanish in college) - I've always enjoying learning foreign languages. In college I was a Foreign Language Education major (with a concentration in French & Spanish). I taught ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) in the School District of Philadelphia for 35 years. Although I taught strictly English to non-native speakers, learning the foreign languages was very helpful in sensitizing you to what it takes to learn a new language. I would speak French or Spanish to parents who didn't speak English during report card conferences, get to translate letters for parents as needed, interpret for other teachers, etc. If I had parents from Haiti who didn't speak English, I would speak to them in French (they would answer in Creole, and we could basically understand each other. Ditto for the Portuguese speaking parents. I don't speak Portuguese, but between the exchanges in Spanish/Portuguese, we could understand each other.

A funny little story. My mother told me once I was old enough to understand this. To get me to drink my bottle of milk, she would sing "The Marseillaise" to me, and that calmed me down. Maybe that had something to do a few years later when I showed interest in learning French?

Back to the game - Are you looking forward to watching the Summer Olympics later this month?

Wow! That's impressive! Kudos!

As for Paris, yes, guilty. Tennis it is. Rafa, Carlitos and Iga the Clay Queen can all count on my support :)

Have you ever been to the Olympics in person?

guilty - few days @ the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. We had cousins who lived in Georgia @ the time, so we drove down to visit them. The tickets were by lottery, so we got to see some judo, track & field, gymnastics individual events & exhibition (our seats were way high up - we needed binoculars to read the competition scores), field hockey, a women's basketball game. We were in Centennial Park a few hours before the bomb went off!

Yes, it behaves like a film and all I have to do is rewind it to remember. Also auditory and olfaction. I remember too many things, which has advantages, but too many things I wish it was possible to forget!

Do you like to keep your windows curtain free so you can see outside all the time?

Half guilty, half innocent. I sometimes do, sometimes don't. I guess it is a two-way street - you can see but at the same time you can be seen. And now, in the drone and high tech era, just sheer height or spacial distance is no guarantee of safety... Still, I often go curtain free and don't care....:)

Do you like taking photographs? (ha, ha , forgive the connotation, I don't mean a paparazzi kind of stuff, just photographs) :)

guilty, but my husband takes most of them when we go on vacation.

Do you like to include photos when you send holiday cards (I do it when I send Jewish New Year cards in the early fall to out of town relatives)?
