Thanks for posting this; the ISU website did not include this in its calendar and I didn't know about it.

It's probably not listed in the ISU calendar because it falls into the category of "European club competition with international participation." The USA skaters who competed in Vienna were selected through USFS' "Club International" (formerly "Young International") program and not by the International Committee.

Other competitions in this category in addition to the Hellmut Seibt Memorial include the Kempen Trophy in Belgium last month (link to results: http://www.not-turnhout.be/NOT/Kempen Trophy/2008/Ktr 08.htm ) and coming up are the Gletscher Cup in Grindelwald, Switzerland, Coupe du Printemps in Luxembourg, and Crystal Ice of Espoo in Finland.

Actually the Helmut Seibt Memorial is part of the European Criterium Series, which consists of 5 competitions and a Finale.

1. Skate Celje
2. Skate Helena
3. Mozart Cup
4. Helmut Seibt Memorial
5. Rozmaring-Titanium Trophy
6. Finale in Canazei (ITA)

I think I missed the Mozart Cup, too. The Rozmaring was listed on the ISU site, but when I went on a couple of days ago (to get the Copenhagen Trophy results), it said that it had been cancelled.

I would like to correct that Mozart Cup in 2008 is not part of the European Criterium series. In 2007 it was. But in 2008 it is not. There are only 5 events in the European Criterium series in 2008.
