Hi everone ! I'm new here. I just registered today. I've been lurking around the boards for alittle while and finally decided to register. :) It looks like a nice place with lots of funny posters.

Welcome to the board! Who are some of your current and past favorite skaters?

rain -- My favorite current skaters are Michelle Kwan,
Irina Slutskaya, Jenny Kirk, Sasha Cohen, Evgeny Plushenko,
Timothy Goebel, and Lang & Tchernyshev.
Past skaters are Alexei (I can't believe he went pro :cry: ), Dorothy Hamill, Kristi Yamaguchi. There are more, but I'll just
leave it at that for now. :)

Btw, on your sig line it says Angela is Pacific Coast
Sectional Champ, it's great to see that she's coming
back. :) Do you happen to know if she has any
later GP events or has qualified for Nationals ?


Btw, I also like to add to my other post that I like
Shen & Zhao. :) I was fortunate to see them
skate live at 2003 Worlds. :)

Welcome!

Angela doesn't have any Grand Prix assignments this season. She qualified for Nationals by winning sectionals. The top four go to Nationals.
 
Thanx! I read that quote at MKF and loved it so I have kinda taken it everywhere that I post as my siggy line. :D

Angela didn't have any GP events this year. Her only pre-Sectionals comp was Finlandia where she finished 11th. I can't wait to see her skate in Atlanta as I will be attending my first US Nationals in January. The loud screams and signs you will hear/see for her on ABC?! Yeah, that will be me and my friend Dawn, LOL :laugh:

And you saw Shen & Zhao live at Worlds?! Lucky! :D

ITA, You are very lucky to have seen Shen & Zhao live at Worlds! I can't watch their performance without crying at the end when they are doing their final lift and you can see the crowd already standing and there's still like 15-20 seconds left. It was a great moment.
