So what happened to those polls? Almost ten consecutive polls were showing she would lose by almost double digits, but Clinton pulled up a stunning win...
Lots of speculations I don't buy. It's especially laughable to suggest the 'crying' saved her fate.
Some people are suspecting many no African American voters tend to lie to the pollster to be 'politically correct'. This theory may have some merits, but it should happen more often in general elections and in conservative states. If this is the case, Obama is toast as a general election candidate. Just imagine all the liberals are ready to celebrate a win in November based on polls, but only to face another crushing defeat...
My own theory is 'Hillary effect'. Clinton is perceived as a 'polarizing' figure, many of her detractors are extremely vocal. I bet lots of Clinton supporters, especially female voters just do not want to tell pollsters their real intentions with their anti-Clinton husbands sitting beside.
