Queen stuff!!!Deanna Stellato-Dudek:
- first woman in her forties in the sport (and also the oldest woman so far) to win a Worlds title in 2024. She medaled in Pairs with her partner Maxime Deschamps.
But they were all underrotated in the scoresheets so it does not really countIlia MALININ (USA) became the first skater to land seven quadruples in a free program, including a quad-jump combination, at the Men Grand Prix Final event in Grenoble, France, 2024:
- quadruple FLIP
- quadruple AXEL
- quadruple TOELOOP
- quadruple SALCHOW
- quadruple LUTZ
- quadruple LOOP
- quadruple LUTZ-triple AXEL

From Skating Scores, here is a chart of most quad attempts in a programbsky.app
Note: (this is another post to be added to the previous one about Ilia's records)
But they were all underrotated in the scoresheets so it does not really count
For a jump to count as a "first" it needs to be fully rotated and receive positive GOE .

Not in competition yet.Question: Has anyone even attempted a 4-4 combination yet?
I see your point, but I think that we can count "senior" in this case. Miki Ando was the first woman to land a ratified quad in competition. "First skater from x to do y" isn't an "official" record either, but it's still important, so I think it's fair.Miki Ando (JPN) was the first woman to land a ratified quad in competition in 2002 which also landed her in the Guiness Book of World Records. The Jump was a quad salchow (4S). The first skater to land a ratified quad salchow in competition was Timothy Goebel (USA) in 1998. He obviously was the first man as well. Anyone after he and Miki Ando will still be second, and nothing historical about it will exist. Adding the word "senior" doesn't change history or make anything "historical" or "first." It's simply male, female, or first skater (regardless of gender).

Ilia did 4-4 in practice. I remember seeing it in his videos.*

I assume he has at some point landed each of the 7 quad jumps successfully (fully rotated) in competition.
Not 100% sure about the 4L, though????
Question: Has anyone even attempted a 4-4 combination yet?
Uhh... I'm afraid you're right! But they were all underrotated in the scoresheets so it does not really count

.... So, I'm going to change "land" with "attempt", mantaining the post as not to delete the whole post, because maybe I will write again (and this time righly) "land" when Ilia will land succesfully all these seven jumps the next competitions

I took the liberty of correcting the table, the row for the 4 Lutz.
I believe this was the first ever successful 4-1-4 by a female, though not ratified in an official program, it was done as celebration at a jumping tournament. A notable first IMO:Question: Has anyone even attempted a 4-4 combination yet?
