"I Am Legend".........the movie

Okay, just got back from the flicks with hubby.......Will Smith is amazing, but this type of movie is not my cup of tea. Very intense and scary.......Anyone else see this yet? What did you all think? This movie reminds me of "Omega Man" with Charleton Heston. 42

I haven't seen it and don't plan to. It's not my type of movie. I don't do "catastrophic plague-like end of the world" movies very well. My hubby saw it and thought it was pretty good except for the end. He said something like the steam went right out of it.

Both movies were based on the same Richard Matheson novel, "I am Legend" along with an older move called, "The Last Man on Earth."

I saw this about 2 weekends ago with my mom. We both enjoyed. My mom probably enjoyed it more because that kinda movie is her cup of tea. Honestly, I never thought I would see the day The Fresh Prince of Bel Air would become an Oscar nomiated actor.

I haven't seen all of Will Smith's movies, but most of them. I thought he was wonderful and the final scene with his dog just about broke my heart. Definitely didn't like the final three minutes of the movie, though......42

I saw it. I thought it was one of the worse movies ever. It was basically a horror movie. I covered my face through most of it, and my sister had to keep leaving out. I can't believe Will made that crap.

I wouldn't go back to see it again. I don't normally like horror or vampire-type movies, but I did think the casting of Will Smith was spot-on. I had read someplace that they tried to make this movie 15 years ago with Gov. Swartzenagger, but couldn't meet the budget......42

I saw it. There were quite a few plot holes. Like what exactly did the infected people eat? Otherwise, not bad.
