I got the job!

I don't remember if I posted about this here or not, I posted on every other message board about it so I assume I shared it here!

anyway earlier this month I took a test for a job with the local Census office... the ad was for the part time positions of the people that go door to door and fill in the needed information.

but! I got hired for a full time office job! I start on the 13th (Friday the Thirteenth! haha!) it's monday through friday, 8a-5p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am soooooooo excited!

I know how you feel. I got laid off the day after Christmas. I went on an interview the Monday before last. They liked me enough to call me in for a meeting with their president next Tuesday. We'll see how it goes. The job is up in Massachusetts, 2 1/4 hours away , so I'll have to move if I get the job.

I really hope you do well in the interview with president. Must have been a real bummer losing a job on Boxing day, oh gosh. All the best!

I'm not in Kenai, I stuck it out in Anchorage... so no I am not taking classes this semester

Our family is having some "set backs" when it comes to $$ so I figured it'd be easier to just sit this one out and get some $$ saved up... Guess I shouldn't have taken that Disney trip
