Invaision of the Quilters

Well they have started to arrive,quilters from all over the world. They come by car, bus & even some fly in.
They have the Quilt in a Day already set up and had some class
going on at the park. The mall has all the booths ready to be filled.
Great time for all the local hotels, restraurants & shops. All the hotels are booked even as far as about 60 miles away.
We just have to be more watchful of the out of towners who drive in
not know which lane turns or goes straight. :agree:
I just hope they all have a good & safe time while visiting our city.

There are lots of quilters here. Surprised my next door neighbor isn't going. She belongs to several quilting outfits.

Wow, lucky you. If there is a link to some pix or a book collecting them, I would peruse it eagerly! I love quilts.

I've never been to the show but have seen some on display at the mall they are beuatiful.
Paducah also has a quilt museum (never been there either) and I've lived here about 20yrs.

I had to laugh a little this morning on the way to work the buses were already out picking up the quilters with signs on the bus as to it's stops. Remined me of when I go to skating comps and riding the bus
On the way home the fabric shop was packed with cars, buses, RV's you just gotta smile.
