So, is Russia out of the ISU for good then? I thought they were supposed to negotiate around this time? Did it fall through? Anyone has any official info?

They have certainly been great GP (and euros) hosts!

I wouldn't mind if Korea or Estonia also entered bids for this event
I do wonder if Korea will bid. I feel like it would be suitable, but they have had chances the past couple of years and they haven’t bid, so I kind of doubt it.

...not one thst could end in Finland being slotted in the same week as Warsaw Cup again:laugh:
I will have difficulty to decide again. And GPF in Europe? Oh well, so much YOLO potential again...

Yes, I'm hoping they would consider the opportunity to promote their new senior pair and ice dance teams with a home GP! Also hoping it would mean less travel for the singles skaters if they are training in Korea.

Europeans 2027 in Lausanne??? Hope the rink will not be as cold as when they hosted the championships in 2001 and in Bern. That was a disgrace

The Lausanne Europeans were in 2002. I was there, and agree that it was much too cold, especially in the early part of the week when there weren't many people in the seats. (They had qualifying rounds that year for the men and ladies, in addition to compulsory dances for the ice dancers.)

OK, I'm missing it. Where are the locations? It would be nice to know before I make other plans where these things are going to be.

I ran to this because I thought we'd see the cities for the GPs Uhhhhh - we know Skate America will be in the USA and Skate Canada will be in Canada. Kind of a misleading title.

Well, at least we know the order of the GPs: China and Japan's order has been switched. Knowing JGP locations is important too, for those of us who can travel to Europe or Asia to see them.
