u can find some results(not all) at www.fisg.it. Carolina won the short, but in the end she is second after Valentina Marchei.I don't know what happened, I haven't seen the competition, I just read the results this morning

Kostner is lucky that due to her placements last year, Italy qualifies for two Ladies at Euros and Worlds.
Has anyone seen Marchei? According to her ISU bio she's 17 (birthday's in May), and has been competiting since 2001, in the JGPF and non-GP competitions like Golden Spin (this year).
BTW, the Babelfish translation from the FISG link above, said that Kostner was in command after the SP, but had an "ill-fated" performance in the LP to lose the title to Marchei.

on an italian website(www.icewire.it) there is a report that says Carolina in the LP seemed <unable to skate>. on the forum of the same site they say it wasn't Valentina who won the competition, but Carolina who lost it practically <killing herself>

Caro seems very inconsistant. VERY being the oprative word here. Everyone was talking about how she wants a quad and how great she is, and then she comes in 10th at worlds.
People were even talking about an OGM for her due to a "hometown crowd", but i doubt that that will happen. Having it in Italy will actually hurt Carolina....she happens to be from the Torol (sp) which is an area not much liked by the rest of Italy.
I wish Caro could do better in the future, by increasing consistancy and getting artistry so that she can fall back on that rather than being totally jump dependant...
