Turkey Trot are races that occur on or around Thanksgiving. Supposed to encourage people to be healthy before they eat all that food.
Because I run (or jog, I'm slow!) myself and I was super curious, I looked up the race results (North Shore Turkey Trot).

Jason finished the 5k (3.1 miles) in 20:45. That's a 6:41 mile (4:09/km). He finished 75th out of 2,224 runners. Well done.
Jason's dad (Steve) did well too! 29:52, which is a 9:36 mile. Pretty good stuff!
