Jason started wearing his hair in a ponytail when he was about 7-8 to keep it away from his face when he was competing. Then he got known for it so he kept it as part of his identity. He did not mention anything about donating his hair. I don’t think he did. It’s pretty frizzy and hard to manage. I think he’s had his hair cut shorter in stages over the past couple of months. His Instagram story for this cut showed about 6” being cut off and the hair being swept off the floor was not super long.

Finally got to see the wedding photos. Looked so beautiful. I knew Caroline's dress would be lovely since she always chose such perfect skating costumes!
Thank you to el henry because I had forgotten my own request. Looked back through all the pictures various members had posted and sure enough, there was the exact side view I wanted to see! The one with Grant y Jason laughing together, from Tavi. I lament the loss of the ponytail, yet like the new shorn clean cut look.

Mrs. P, I LOVE the statistics! One of my favorite parts of competition is pouring over the detailed scores afterwards. I enjoyed how you laid them out y mentioned those ahead for comparison.
Just sharing my squee over Jason posting another Instastory with Miles(?) the Wheaten Terrier puppy, who apparently thinks Jason is an A+ pillow. An excellent way to celebrate International Dog Day!

When he’s ready? He’s not Josh, Karne, and we’re not talking about a decision to quit skating, change coaches, or get married here. We’re talking about standard information that most skaters - including Zhenya this season and Jason himself in the past - reveal over the summer.
I think he’s made a deliberate choice to withhold this and other innocuous information (ie his Challenger assignment), either because he’s now modeling himself on Yuzuru, man of mystery, or in order to make a bigger “splash” once the season starts.
And I personally find it annoying, not the least because this thread is boring when there’s basically no substantive info to discuss. Unlike Yuzuru, he doesn’t have the Japanese media following him everywhere generating magazine articles, etc. There are only so many times I can say, oh how cute, a baby Jason picture, or oh how cute, Jason with a puppy, before it starts getting...tiresome. JMO.

We don't know the music (either short, or long, or both) of many of the US skaters, when you think about it... Vincent Zhou; Karen Chen, Gracie Gold, Bradie Tennell, Angela Wang, Stellato-Dudek/Bartholomay, Chock/Bates, Hawayek/Baker, Hobbell/ Donohue.

My two cents: Jason already has broken his own mold this year with some earth-shattering changes. In comparison, a different timeframe for announcing his program music is no big deal, IMO.
If he were to announce his FS today, great.
If we do not find out until the fast-approaching Autumn Classic, that also would be OK by me.

There is absolutely nothing with Jason announcing when Jason wants to announce.
And absolutely nothing wrong with Jason’s loyal fans complaining that we don’t yet know. I’m entitled to my opinion and I’m sticking to it
And Jason AND Donovan at ACI. The performance meters just went off the charts, be still my heart
yes, I know many other performers as well (Kévin, Julian) but I’m entitled to my favs and I’m sticking to that too

By the same token: absolutely nothing wrong with other loyal fans of Jason expressing a different opinion.
I'm eager for free skate news, but honestly, I'm just glad to see Jason happy. It seems like he's doing great in his new training environment and seems to be enjoying the city and such.
Honestly at the rate that time seems to be flying by for me, it's really not that much longer until we get to see him skate!

Well all I’ll say is that in a somewhat moribund thread, there are now 8 posts discussing the fact that Jason hasn’t released any news of his programs and whether that’s okay.

There's everything wrong with Jason fans wanting those worthless fleas at TSL to steal the information and leak it before Jason wants to announce it.
