Jason Brown

Seriously!

Actually, it's so Jason Brown, circa 2010. :P

Come on Jason, you are too original to play to cliche fashion trends.

He must like them-- he wore them to the prom. :)

I know zilch about men's fashions but I tell you I cannot stand those "shorts" men wear that are huge and baggy and end below the knee.

I'm dating myself, but remember cut-offs?? I think they look so much better!!

Fret not, he'll get the quad! I'm absolutely, completely convinced of it, and have zero doubts!

As for the jealous fans who begrudge Jason to any other... Made me think of Beatles fans, actually...

It's so much better to be Nice Benevolent - however Nosy - Aunt. :)

Yes it is!!

 suspender play is so last season! ;)

Yikes! I was going to ask if anyone thought that the hand gestures at the beginning of the SP (where he pushes his hands out) looked like a potential suspenders move. Cmon Rohene, I love you, you can do better than that!

I noticed that gesture and my 1st thought was "please no suspenders"!!! And after reading that today I came here sure that I'd be the only one who doesn't like the idea (for 'doesn't' read 'absolutely hates and is cringing already in anticipation of'). I thought I'd be in the minority like with the sprinkler...:slink:

I mean Kori was saying that she thought skating to music with vocals is corny - suspenders if anything is corny and as Mrs P pointed out Jason has already done it.

I'm not happy but I'm hoping that Jason with his infinite charisma can pull even that off. Have to wait and see I guess.

What kind of costume would you guys like for Juke? I had black pants, white collar shirt ((long sleeves) & a black front / silver back buttoned vest in mind, maybe even spats if otherwise too plain...

I WANT PINSTRIPES!

(This is a photo of Columbus Short playing Little Walter in the movie "Cadillac Records")

And I guess suspenders were appropriate for the period, though I still think he'd be better without them.

I'd like some color...(like red, blue) maybe for the pinstripes.

Heck, he could get inspiration FROM the Cadilliac Records' stylist since it's about the Chicago music scene in the 1940s to 1960s.

I like Adrian Brody's look here: http://www.justjared.com/photo-gallery/982291/beyonce-adrien-brody-cadillac-records-01/fullsize/

I love the blue, and I think Jason could pull off the blue pants/black shirt look!

Well, I did like the sprinkler, but suspenders ... no no no ... and I didn't like it in "Fly Me to the Moon" either. Then again, I am the minority that prefers the Hammertime routine to Old Blue Eyes...

I was thinking spats too! I was actually hoping for a touch of red with the black/silver/maybe gold 40s suit motif, but now I'm worried they will be red suspenders.

ETA: Just saw Mrs. P's post. Yes, pinstripes!

Pinstripes would be cool, yes! Silver pinstripes on black vest...but pls no pinstripe pants.... unless it's a very very thin stripe

But I'm afraid we'll get those reeeeeeeaaaaallly stretchy suspenders in colour and a dark plain pants/shirt combo. Boohoo

That Columbus Short look though...

Definitely thin stripes, for sure!

Plain pants/white shirts is also so circa 2010 Jason. I want a more mature sleek look!

New Ice Network article regarding Broadmoor Open: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2014/07/03/82717466

Also the story features a photo from Ashley Cain of her and Jason, if you want to ship some more. ;)

Thx for the IN article re the Broadmoor Open, Mrs. P.

I know that you're joking about the Cain shipping ;), but I happened to stumble upon another photo from a Jason bromance. As karne's pic already showed, Jason is an equal-opportunity hugger .

I don't know if everyone has seen this particular version of Riverdance from the 2014 Nationals in Boston, but it's shot from an alternate vantage point so it's subtly different from the one we're used to. And it has some interesting details (esp. when Jason and Kori are waiting for the results) that the "original" video lacks.

The original one was from NBC. I believe this might be the one used by Ice Network and the other countries that picked up Nationals?

There's very little that escapes you, Mrs. P! ;) I threw that in just in case someone had missed it. The different perspective is interesting-- I just wish I could read lips!! Nosy Auntie again

:rolleye:

Am I the only one who wouldn't mind a bit of suspenderography in the SP? :slink: I think it can look cheesy, but on Jason it would just look adorable.

Jason would look adorable wearing anything!!!

karne-- you coined a new word: suspenderography

kudos!!

Can't take the credit, I'm afraid. I read it elsewhere, can't remember where.

And I have to admit to being guilty of the white shirt/black skirt/black bootcovers/blacksparkly suspenders/black hat combination myself...complete with suspenderography. :o:

You mean you, yourself, have worn that combination? Bonzer!!

Oh, my. I don't know what else to say!

Does he tend to snap his suspenders? :confused2:

Rewatch Juke. There's a point where he is so snapping his suspenders and the invisible ones are those reeeeeeeaaaaallly stretchy ones that have a special place in wardrobe hell
