Clearly, you are not a Max fan. The Abbott fans are legions of many, and their favourite sport ever since Max blew the lid off the arena at Nationals in 2013 has been Max-bashing.

LOL, we just saw it with this Readers' Choice vote.

My congratulations to Jeremy. And I think Jason and Max would not hesitate to congratulate Jeremy. Any :rolleye: from Brownzillas or others would only make Jason and Max uncomfortable, IMO.

(Pls don't make me regret that Brownzilla was one of my nickname suggestions. The -zilla was meant only as a tongue-in-cheek joke ... not as an indication of any true ugliness.)

I think it was a nod to his whole career - 4 x US Champion is no mean feat - with a record SP score the last time - and many found his fall & rise at the Olys inspiring. Also, 5th at Worlds was decent as well. And it got the 3 US spots for Jason (and Max and Joshua) for 2015 ;)

I was surprisingly ok with this choice, though I voted for Jason. Meryl & Charlie, who came in third, already have 2, even though they did win the 1st gold for USA in ID this year. Jason came in 2nd, and he is still very young. He will get his for sure one of these years (and Max and Joshua) :biggrin:

I agree - when I feel frustrated by something and tempted to write something less kind, I try to think wwjd = what would Jason do? For sure he wouldn't roll his eyes :biggrin:

Agree and agree! :) Jason is such a positive guy and I love how positive this thread is.
 
Sorry, I'm still :rolleye::rolleye::rolleye:, but it has nothing to do with *Jeremy*, it has to do with *voting*. I have no desire to engage in the Jeremy vs. Jason threads that seem to pop up from time to time. Good luck to them both, and may the best skater win.

Thank you, Karne, for answering the question that I was posing, which is where did all the Jeremy fans come from? My only frame of reference, having returned to skating after a many year absence in January, are the various online fora, where Jason threads seem to be much more active than Jeremy threads. (An imperfect measurement, but it was online voting.) Evidently, they do come out when they feel they need to --although attacking Max is scarcely a "need".

And -zilla is a negative? I am out of the loop (not the first time that's been said!):laugh:
 
The zilla is from the old monster film, Godzilla, reused in the reality show Bridezilla.

So yes :laugh:, it has its negative side.
