NBC showed their version of US Nats highlights over the past 10 years, and of course, Riverdance was prominently featured. It was fun to see it on the television screen again. They had some really good highlights from Ashley, Gracie, Nathan, Adam, Meryl and Charlie, Tim and Ashley, and more. It was a fun show to watch. That 2014 Nats was pretty spectacular. For Gracie they chose her 2016 skate, but I remember her 2014 skate very well. She was great. With all the competitions this weekend and that special, it was a skating extravaganza. But seeing Riverdance on screen was the best for me!

You did! I only watched it on tv because a friend of mine was in the arena watching and I thought I might spot her. Instead, I discovered Jason! I was hooked!

I had pretty much been on hiatus from skating, and Jason got me hooked again. I was so surprised to learn he was from HIghland Park, IL. which is not all that far from where I live. I still see new things when I watch the video (after having watched it 200 times probably!). I love the way you can see the people in the first couple rows all smiling. Everyone was so into it!

I looked but I didn't find one. The original Riverdance videos are still out there, but the show hasn't been posted on the TV schedule anywhere that I saw. They showed Adam's 2018 Short, Mariah's 2020 Free, Jason's 2014 Free, Cain and Le Duc's Gold medal winning Free (2019, I believe) Meryl and Charlie's 2014 Free, Alexa and Chris's 2020 short, Ashley's 2015 free, Gracie's 2016 free, Nathan's first Championship, 2017 Free, Shibs Gold Medal Free. And announced Johnny Weir's Hall of Fame placement, and Alyssa Liu's first championship Free. Most of those skates should be out there somewhere.

Those aerial captures are amazing! I was about to give up on the hope of a video by Jordan, now the tension is in the air all over again!!!

I've had a Japanese speaking friend listen to Jason's Japanese speeches. She said his Japanese is very good. He has a tendency to present his speeches in the style of Japanese Television commentators, but his grasp of the language is sound. She's not a native speaker, but she's lived in Kobe for a total of almost 20 years.

I've watched Jason's ISP challenge performances enough to know them pretty well and I didn't recall seeing a move like photo 4 in either program. I re-watched the programs yesterday. (I know ... It's so tough to watch Jason's programs again! ) That move was not in either program on 9/22.

I keep reminding myself that Nationals is only a few weeks away and, barring any problems, we'll soon be seeing Jason's programs in their finished form.
